Elmwood Players Presents...

Last Tango and Last Panto in Little Grimley.

It’s a scene we’re all familiar with, the dysfunctional committee with members who have sat in residence for decades with a staunch “we always do it that way, because we’ve always done it that way” attitude.

Little Grimley Amateur Dramatic Society is no different, as audiences who sample Elmwood Players latest offering will discover.

Last Tango in Little Grimley sets the scene with the local Am-dram Society facing closure due to dwindling audience numbers. They must resort to dirty marketing tactics to get punters through the door and thanks to a light smattering of poetic license-and a more liberal shedding of clothes-the society lives on.

Last Tango

Last Panto in Little Grimley picks up from where “Tango” left off as the very same characters endeavour to ride on the coat tales of their previous success by putting on a “sex panto”. The lack of organisation, talent and barren pool of fresh ideas is immediately apparent and once again the thespians must resort to desperate measures.

For a good hearted laugh at a couple of well written one act plays, see Last Tango in Little Grimley and Last Panto in Little Grimley at the Elmwood Auditorium.
